The CYGNAL game client currently runs entirely offline. Character saves, global rankings (Woodshed, Pinball, Poker), and video/display options are stored locally on your device under %LOCALAPPDATA%\CygnalARPG\and are never uploaded automatically.

The cygnalops.com website itself does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party social widgets. Viewing public pages (wiki, classes, lore, catalogs, leaderboards) requires no account and collects no personal data.

A future opt-in “Global Leaderboards” feature will let you submit runs under a self-chosen display name and a pseudonymous credential stored securely on your device. It will never use your Windows username, machine name, hardware identifiers, or full save files as identity. That feature is not part of the currently shipped release; this page will be updated with full collection/retention/deletion details before it goes live.

Donations are handled entirely by PayPal under PayPal’s own privacy policy — this site does not process or store payment information.
